Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Crew Leader in Landscape Maintenance to oversee and coordinate outdoor landscaping projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, hands-on experience in horticulture and landscape maintenance, and the ability to supervise a team effectively. This role involves managing daily operations, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining client satisfaction through expert landscape care.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of landscape maintenance workers to complete assigned projects efficiently and to high standards.
Oversee daily tasks such as mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and general garden maintenance.
Manage irrigation systems, ensuring proper installation, repair, and operation for optimal landscape health.
Coordinate with clients to understand their landscape needs and provide professional recommendations.
Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times during project execution.
Schedule work assignments, monitor progress, and provide training or guidance as needed.
Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Assist with construction activities related to landscape projects when necessary.

Requirements

Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture, or related fields.
Supervising or leadership experience in outdoor or construction environments preferred.
Knowledge of irrigation systems, landscaping techniques, and horticultural practices.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and operating equipment outdoors in various weather conditions.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients.
Valid driver’s license is preferred for transportation between job sites.
Experience with construction activities related to landscaping is a plus.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44.0 per week
