Roll-Off Driver / Equipment Float Driver (DZ or AZ Licence Required)

Overview

Gray's Landscaping & Snow Removal Inc. is seeking a reliable and experienced Roll-Off Driver / Equipment Float Driver to join our growing team. This position involves operating roll-off trucks, delivering and exchanging bins, and transporting landscaping and construction equipment between job sites. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, dependable, customer-focused, and capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

Operate roll-off trucks in accordance with company policies and all applicable safety regulations.
Deliver, pick up, and exchange bins at residential, commercial, and construction sites.
Transport landscaping and construction equipment safely between job sites using float trailers.
Load, secure, transport, and unload equipment in accordance with industry safety standards.
Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks, trailers, and equipment.
Ensure loads are properly secured and comply with all MTO regulations.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, inspections, and vehicle maintenance.
Communicate effectively with management, dispatch, and customers regarding schedules and job requirements.
Assist with loading, unloading, and general yard duties when required.
Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company positively at all times.

Qualifications

Valid DZ or AZ Driver's Licence with a clean driver's abstract.
Minimum 3 years of experience operating roll-off trucks and hauling equipment.
Experience with float trailers and transporting heavy equipment is required.
Experience loading, securing, and hauling skid steers, mini excavators, loaders, and other landscape/construction equipment.
Strong understanding of Ontario transportation regulations and safe driving practices.
Ability to perform physically demanding work, including heavy lifting.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
