Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Assistant and become a vital part of our logistics and supply chain operations! In this energetic role, you will support the smooth functioning of warehouse activities by handling inventory, assisting with shipments, and maintaining a safe and organized environment. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help ensure timely processing of goods and contribute to the overall efficiency of our warehouse operations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming shipments to ensure quality and quantity standards are met
Prepare outgoing orders by picking, packing, and labeling items according to specified requirements
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by adhering to safety protocols and housekeeping standards
Assist with inventory management through stock counts, cycle counts, and updating inventory records in our system
Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified) to move goods efficiently within the facility
Support team members during busy periods by helping load and unload trucks or containers
Document all activities clearly in logs and reports to ensure accurate tracking of inventory movements

Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy items, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail for accurate record keeping
Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and safety compliance
Basic proficiency with computers or handheld devices for inventory updates
Prior experience in warehousing or logistics is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided
Valid certification to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts is advantageous but not required; certification can be obtained during employment if needed
