Job Type: Full-time

Location: Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Area

We are seeking an experienced handyman with a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience to join our team in maintaining and enhancing the property in the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce area. The successful candidate will be a responsible and dependable individual, and dedicated to ensuring work is performed meticulously.

Requirements:

· Proficiency in basic plumbing, carpentry, electricity, and repairs

· Willingness to undergo a background check

Key Responsibilities:

· Cleaning of common areas

· Rent collection and administrative support

· Apartment visits

· Communication with the administration for various premises-related issues

· Respond to service calls, interact with tenants, and follow up on their requests.

· Perform maintenance and carry out carpentry, plumbing, painting, plastering, electrical work, etc.

· Assist other trades, employees, or subcontractors in their tasks, as needed.

· Conduct regular rounds to repair damages, malfunctions, or maintenance needs.

· Dispose of waste according to current municipal regulations.

· Plan the schedule and organization during relocations.

· Install new appliances.

· Respond to emergencies when necessary and perform any other tasks relevant to the role.

Qualifications:

· Work experience of a minimum of 3 to 5 years in a similar position or any other relevant experience.

· Organized and resourceful.

· Possess an excellent sense of customer service.

· Capable of adapting to various requests.

· Fluent in both English and French

· Integrity and the ability to work independently.

Le candidat retenu sera une personne responsable et fiable, dévouée à garantir un travail méticuleux.

Exigences :

Maîtrise de la plomberie de base, de la menuiserie, électricité et des réparations.

Volonté de se soumettre à une vérification des antécédents.

Responsabilités principales :

Nettoyage des espaces communs

Collecte des loyers et soutien administratif

Visites d'appartements

Communication avec l'administration pour divers problèmes liés aux locaux

Répondre aux appels de service, interagir avec les locataires et suivre leurs demandes.

Effectuer des travaux de maintenance et réaliser des travaux mineurs de menuiserie, plomberie, peinture, plâtrage, etc.

Aider les autres métiers, employés ou sous-traitants dans leurs tâches, au besoin.

Effectuer des rondes régulières pour réparer les dommages, les dysfonctionnements ou les besoins de maintenance.

Éliminer les déchets conformément aux réglementations municipales en vigueur.

Planifier l'horaire et l'organisation pendant les déménagements.

Installer de nouveaux appareils.

Répondre aux urgences lorsque cela est nécessaire et effectuer toute autre tâche pertinente pour le rôle.

Qualifications :

Expérience de travail d'au moins 3 à 5 ans dans un poste similaire ou toute autre expérience pertinente.

Organisé et ingénieux.

Excellente aptitude au service à la clientèle.

Capacité à s'adapter à diverses demandes.

Bilingue en anglais et en français.

Intégrité et capacité à travailler de manière indépendante.
