Fondée en 1973, Flex-Pression Ltd. est un fabricant canadien de tuyaux métalliques flexibles et de joints d’expansion. Nos produits et services sont utilisés dans une grande variété d’industries lourdes. Nos produits sont fabriqués conformément à des certifications spécifiques et à des processus rigoureux de contrôle de la qualité. Nous sommes actuellement à la recherche d’un(e) contrôleur(se) expérimenté(e).

Relevant du président, le ou la contrôleur(se) sera responsable d’une variété de tâches liées aux finances, notamment la préparation des registres et rapports financiers. En tant que leader du département de comptabilité (personnel des comptes recevables et des comptes payables), la personne démontrera de solides compétences en communication et en leadership, ainsi qu’une vaste expérience en comptabilité de prix de revient.

Les principales fonctions du poste seront les suivantes :

Jouer un rôle clé dans la gestion financière de l’entreprise, incluant toutes les conciliations de comptes et les rapports destinés aux parties concernées
Assumer la responsabilité de tous les processus comptables réguliers tels que les comptes payables, les comptes recevables, le grand livre, les écritures comptables, ainsi que la fermeture mensuelle des comptes
Préparer toutes les transactions bancaires et superviser les procédures d’enregistrement des données
Mettre à jour et organiser les rapports de paie, les rapports de fin d’année et les audits
Résumer la situation financière en recueillant les informations et en préparant les bilans, états des résultats, flux de trésorerie et autres rapports nécessaires pour 3 entités différentes
Effectuer les analyses mensuelles des écarts budgétaires et des états financiers, ainsi que d’autres analyses
Veiller à la conformité fiscale fédérale et provinciale, aux enregistrements d’entreprise et aux déclarations fiscales corporatives
Participer à la conception et à la préparation des budgets pour révision par la direction
Assigner et planifier le travail afin d’aider à identifier et établir les priorités

Vous pourriez être notre candidat(e) idéal(e) si :

Vous possédez de solides compétences en communication et en leadership
Vous détenez un titre CPA et un minimum de 7 années d’expérience (dans les secteurs de la distribution et de la fabrication, un atout)
Vous possédez de l’expérience en comptabilité des coûts dans un environnement manufacturier
Vous avez d’excellentes compétences analytiques, en production de rapports financiers et en résolution de problèmes
Vous maîtrisez la suite Microsoft Office
Vous êtes bilingue (à l’oral et à l’écrit) puisque vous devrez communiquer avec vos collègues des autres provinces et clients/fournisseurs internationaux
Vous êtes orienté(e) vers les résultats, faites preuve d’initiative et avez un bon sens des affaires

Founded in 1973, Flex-Pression Ltd. is a Canadian manufacturer of flexible metal hose and expansion joints. Our products and services are used in a wide variety of heavy industries. Our products are manufactured in accordance to specific certifications and stringent quality control processes. We are currently looking for an experienced controller.

Reporting to the President, the Controller will be responsible for a variety of finance related tasks associated with preparing financial records and reports. As a leader of the accounting department (A/R and A/P personnel), he/she will demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills with extensive cost plus accounting experience. The main functions of the role will be:

Play a vital part in the company's financial management including all account reconciliations and reporting to necessary parties
Responsibility for all regular accounting processes such as A/P, A/R, General ledger, journal entries, including the monthly closure of accounts
Preparation of all bank transactions and oversee data recording procedures
Update and organise payroll reports, year-end reports or audits
Summarise financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, cash flow and other statements and necessary reports for three entities
Perform monthly financial statement/budget variance and other analyses
Focus on federal, provincial tax compliance, business registration, and corporate tax filings
Assist in the design and preparation of budgets for review by management
Assigns and schedules work to help identify and set priorities

You could be our ideal candidate if :

you have strong communication and leadership skills
CPA designation, minimum of 7 years’ experience (within distribution and manufacturing, preferred)
Cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
Excellent analytical, financial reporting and problem solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
You are bilingual (both spoken and written), as you will need to communicate with colleagues in other provinces and with international clients and suppliers
Result oriented, sense of initiative and business
