CSA Transportation cherche actuellement à intégrer un chef d'équipe/manutentionnaire expérimenté au sein de son équipe en pleine croissance à Montréal.

Les responsabilités comprendront:

Diriger et coordonner les activités quotidiennes des manutentionnaires et des quais. Assurer le chargement, le déchargement, le tri, la mise en place et le déplacement sécuritaires des marchandises. Utiliser les équipements de manutention, notamment les chariots élévateurs, les transpalettes et les équipements de quai, selon les besoins. Manipuler et gérer les marchandises de manière efficace et efficiente, en évitant les dommages. Capacité à soulever jusqu’à 23 kg (50 lb). Optimiser le volume des marchandises expédiées. Connaître les capacités de charge des remorques. Effectuer quotidiennement les contrôles de sécurité des chariots élévateurs. Utiliser les chariots élévateurs en toute sécurité. Promouvoir et faire respecter les politiques, les procédures et les exigences réglementaires de l’entreprise en matière de sécurité. Animer des réunions de sécurité avant la prise de poste et corriger immédiatement toute situation ou pratique dangereuse. Suivre la productivité des employés et faire un retour d’information aux superviseurs. Signaler rapidement les défauts d’équipement, les problèmes d’entretien et les incidents de sécurité.

Ce que nous attendons de vous :

Doit être bilingue en anglais et en français, Horaire de travail : du lundi au vendredi, de 12 h 00 à 20 h 30 (heures supplémentaires possibles). Au moins 3 à 5 ans d'expérience dans la conduite de chariots élévateurs. Au moins 3 ans d'expérience en entrepôt. Expérience en transbordement (cross-docking) souhaitée (environnement LTL). Permis ou certificat de cariste requis. Esprit d'équipe et attitude positive. Excellentes compétences en communication écrite et orale.

CSA Transportation is currently looking to add an experienced Bilingual Lead Hand - Material Handler to our growing Montreal Team.

Responsibilities will include:

Lead and coordinate the daily activities of material handlers and dock workers.
Ensure the safe loading, unloading, sorting, staging, and movement of freight.
Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and dock equipment, as required.
Ability to move and manage freight efficiently and effectively, avoiding damages
Ability to lift up to 50 LBS
Maximizing outbound cubes
Possess knowledge of trailer weight capacities
Conduct forklift safety checks daily
Safe forklift utilization at all times
Promote and enforce company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct pre-shift safety talks and address unsafe conditions or practices immediately.
Monitor employee productivity and provide feedback to supervisors.
Report equipment defects, maintenance issues, and safety incidents promptly.

What we require from you:

Work Schedule, Monday - Friday , 12:00Pm - 8:30pm
Minimum 3-5 years Operating Forklift
Minimum 3 year of Warehouse Experience
Must be bilingual in English and French.
Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
Cross Dock experience is an asset (LTL environment)
Forklift License/certificate required
Team player with a positive attitude
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
