Full job description

Overview
Iron Horse Earthworks Inc. is seeking a highly organized and motivated Project Scheduler for an upcoming industrial civil and earthworks project in Port Hope, Ontario.

The successful candidate will assist with planning, scheduling, progress tracking, reporting, and coordination of daily project activities to help ensure the project is completed safely and on schedule.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain construction schedules
Track project progress, manpower, and equipment utilization
Coordinate daily and weekly work plans with project management and field crews
Assist with schedule updates, look-ahead planning, and reporting
Monitor project milestones and critical path activities
Maintain and update project schedules using Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office platforms
Support procurement and subcontractor coordination
Attend project meetings and assist with documentation
Maintain accurate records and reporting for project activities

Qualifications:

Experience in construction scheduling or project coordination
Civil, industrial, or heavy construction experience preferred
Must be highly efficient in Microsoft Office platforms including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
Experience using Microsoft Project for scheduling, tracking, and project coordination preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
Detail-oriented with strong time management abilities
