Full job description

Job description:

The Henderson Group is seeking a reliable and experienced Rolloff AZ/DZ Driver to join our team. As a driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations, and strong knowledge in Rolloff and bins. This position requires heavy equipment operation, and a valid commercial driver's license and an abstract, you must also keep your medical updated with your license.

Responsibilities:

Operate roll-off trucks (manual and automatic) safely and efficiently
Load, transport, and unload bins to and from designated locations
Perform tarping and untarping of bins as required
Operate a variety of equipment including roll-off trucks, flatbeds, and landoff systems
Follow all traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues
Perform basic vehicle maintenance and ensure trucks are in good working condition
Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding schedules, routes, and any delays or issues
Maintain accurate records including delivery logs, inspection reports, and required documentation
Ensure safe handling and transport of materials at all times

Requirements:

Valid AZ or DZ driver’s license
Minimum 3 years of roll-off/bin driving experience
Clean driver’s abstract with no major violations
Proven experience as a truck driver or in a similar role
Knowledge of vehicle inspection and basic maintenance (asset)
Ability to safely operate manual and automatic transmissions
Experience with tarping systems
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
