Full job description

Here at Willowtree Farm, we offer a unique butcher process of cutting chicken, pork, beef, and lamb that all come from local farms. We cut from whole carcass - Our goal is to be a leader in the industry.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Artisanal Butcher to join our team. This is a hands-on production role for a highly skilled craft butcher with extensive experience in whole-animal fabrication and premium meat cutting.

Requirements

Minimum 8 years of professional butchery experience.
Proven ability to break down and fabricate whole carcass beef, lamb, and pork.
Expert knife skills and thorough knowledge of primal and sub-primal cuts.
Strong understanding of meat quality, aging, trimming, and yield management.
Experience preparing retail-ready cuts, custom orders, and value-added products.
Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and product presentation.
Physically capable of lifting, standing, and working in a refrigerated production environment.
Reliable, self-motivated, and committed to producing exceptional quality products.

Key Responsibilities

Fabricate whole carcass beef, lamb, and pork according to company specifications.
Produce premium retail cuts and custom customer orders.
Trim, portion, and prepare products to maximize quality and yield.
Monitor product quality and freshness throughout the production process.
Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
Assist with receiving, storage, and rotation of inventory as required.

Experienced Artisanal Butcher / Meat Cutter

The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for delivering premium-quality meat products.

Competitive wages will be offered based on experience, skill level, and demonstrated butchery expertise.
