Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cook/Kitchen Supervisor to oversee daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, food preparation and cooking expertise, and a solid understanding of food safety standards. This role involves supervising kitchen staff, managing food quality, and ensuring excellent service to our guests. The Cook/Kitchen Manager will play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and customer satisfaction within our restaurant or hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations and high-quality food preparation
Oversee food handling, cooking, and presentation to meet safety and quality standards
Manage inventory, order food and supplies. Manage inventories.
Develop and implement menu items in collaboration with culinary team
Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations related to food safety and sanitation
Train new staff on food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and service standards
Monitor kitchen cleanliness and organization, ensuring adherence to hygiene protocols
Coordinate with serving staff to deliver exceptional customer service
Assist in managing restaurant or hospitality operations as needed, including scheduling and team management

Experience

Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or food industry setting
Food preparation and cooking skills with knowledge of various cuisines
Previous food service experience demonstrating leadership capabilities in a hospitality environment
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
Experience managing restaurant operations or kitchen teams is highly desirable
Familiarity with restaurant management practices, including inventory control and staff training
Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and safety

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
