Overview

Join our vibrant team as a Barista/Server and bring energy, enthusiasm, and exceptional service to our bustling café environment. In this dynamic role, you will craft delicious beverages, serve food with a smile, and ensure every guest enjoys a memorable experience. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will help create a welcoming atmosphere where customers feel valued and cared for. Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair.
Take customer orders accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, process transactions efficiently, and handle cash or card payments responsibly.
Serve food items to guests in a timely manner, ensuring proper food handling and presentation standards are met.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations, tables, and serving counters.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and addressing any special requests or dietary needs.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure all customers are served promptly without compromising quality.
Follow food safety protocols diligently to uphold hygiene standards and ensure safe food handling practices.

Qualifications

Previous barista experience or food service experience is highly preferred; familiarity with serving in a fast-paced environment is a plus.
Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar transaction processing tools.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests.
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately.
Experience with food preparation or food handling is desirable; understanding of food safety regulations is essential.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours.
Ability to stand for extended periods, move quickly between stations, and work effectively as part of a team.

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
