Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Certified Registered Nurses (Remote Practice) to provide emergency medical care at a remote industrial site in northern BC on a rotational basis.

Duties

Assess and treat patients presenting to the clinic
Provide medical care according to scope of practice with support of 24/7 telehealth physician where required
Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in accordance with medical protocols
Communicate effectively with patients and other emergency responders
Maintain all emergency medical equipment, ensuring it is clean, functional, and stocked.
Adhere to all safety standards and protocols to prevent injury or infection during emergency responses
Assist with training new team members and participate in ongoing professional development activities

Requirements

Valid BCCNM registration
Prior experience of remote industrial clinics preferred.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Ability to integrate with remote camp population

Pay: $1,100.00-$1,400.00 per day
