Full job description

Duties:
- Assist customers with lumber and building material needs and provide excellent customer service.
-Fill customer orders
-Unload supplier trucks
-Operate forklift
-Make deliveries with company truck
-Keep lumber yard stocked and neat
-Preform cutting and milling for customers using woodworking shop tools.

Skills:
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain a clean and orderly work environment
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Basic math skills
- Knowledge of hardware and building practices
-Knowledge of building materials
-A valid drivers licence with a clean driving record
-Customer satisfaction oriented
-Work well with others

As a Yard person/Truck driver, you will play a vital role in assisting customers with their hardware and building material needs, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the yard is well-maintained. Your time management and organizational skills will be crucial in managing tasks efficiently and maintaining an organized work environment. Your ability to communicate effectively will help you assist customers with their inquiries and provide product recommendations. Basic math skills will be necessary for cash handling and inventory management.
