Job Overview

We are looking for a warm, organized and confident person to join our team as our Wedding & Events Coordinator to lead the planning and execution of our wedding celebrations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to craft exceptional guest experiences by managing all aspects of the event. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating excellent communication, organizational skills, and a passion for hospitality. Join us to create unforgettable moments and deliver outstanding customer service. This is a part-time, year-round position with a seasonal focus. Perfect for somebody who loves weddings, hospitality and people. You will be responsible for:

Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and requirements for each event or wedding.
Arrange viewings to potential couples and provide package info and added service options.
Following up with potential clients.
Working with couples throughout their planning process.
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and venue staff to ensure seamless execution of all event elements.
Manage event timelines, budgets, and logistics to deliver a flawless experience within specified parameters.
Upsell additional services or packages to enhance guest satisfaction and maximize revenue opportunities.
Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Oversee setup, execution, and breakdown of events, ensuring all details align with client expectations
Strong background in hospitality, restaurant, or hotel experience with excellent customer service skills.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Experience in budgeting and financial management related to event planning.
Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods.
Arrange catering info to culinary team in a timely fashion.
Create invoicing and payments
Manage staffing schedules

We are looking for somebody who is highly organized, personable, professional and comfortable taking the lead. We are a small family business with family values. This is a hands on role with flexibility throughout the year, with more hours during the months of June- October.

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 30.0 per week
