Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Plumber to join our team. This entry-level position offers hands-on training and the opportunity to develop essential skills in plumbing, construction, and related trades. The Apprentice Plumber will work under the supervision of experienced professionals to assist with a variety of plumbing projects, gaining valuable industry knowledge and practical experience. This role is ideal for individuals interested in building a career in plumbing and construction, with a focus on safety, craftsmanship, and technical proficiency.

Responsibilities

Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
Support the setup and assembly of piping systems using hand tools and power tools
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution
Perform basic measurements and calculations to support project planning and execution
Participate in heavy lifting tasks to move materials and equipment safely
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times
Support team members with carpentry, welding, HVAC, or other related tasks as needed
Learn to operate construction equipment and understand schematics for system layouts
Assist with troubleshooting issues using basic math skills and technical schematics

Requirements

Basic mechanical knowledge or familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and schematics preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely
Strong interest in plumbing, construction, HVAC, or related trades
Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to read blueprints and schematics is a plus but training will be provided
Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations
Prior experience in carpentry or welding is advantageous but not mandatory
Valid driver’s license for commercial driving may be beneficial for certain projects
Commitment to safety procedures and ongoing learning in a dynamic work environment

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
