Full job description

Join our team! Vanway Kitchen + Bath has a long track record in the community as a reputable builder of top quality cabinets and countertops. We’re looking for a team player who can help out around the shop and begin learning the basics of sanding, staining, and assembling cabinets. No experience needed – training will be provided!

Here’s what we’ll need you to do

Learn about our products and processes
Sand cabinets and apply stains and finishes
Assemble pieces into a finished unit
Assist cabinetmakers in the shop or job site
Carefully load and unload products on our trucks
Drive the company vehicle for deliveries
Tidy up the cabinet shop or customer's job site

You’ll be a good fit for our team if you:

Are punctual and dependable
Are a team player with a great attitude
Take pride in completing a job to the highest standards
Can read and understand blueprints
Can operate power tools and hand tools safely
Demonstrate a strong understanding of safety principles
Have a Class 5 drivers license with a clean driving abstract
Can lift heavy items up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
