Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Carpenter Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the carpentry trade while working under the guidance of skilled professionals. As a Carpenter Apprentice, you will assist in various construction tasks, learn essential skills, and contribute to the successful completion of projects.

Responsibilities

Assist experienced carpenters in constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.
Help with the interpretation of blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of projects.
Participate in heavy lifting and moving materials as needed on job sites.
Support tasks such as caulking, installation of fixtures, and basic electrical work under supervision.
Engage in masonry work when required, ensuring quality standards are met.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Learn construction estimating techniques to assist in project planning.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.

Skills

Basic knowledge of carpentry principles and techniques is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with blueprint reading to understand project specifications.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively.
Skills in caulking, installation, and construction painting are advantageous.
Understanding of electrical systems is a plus for diverse project involvement.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Willingness to learn new skills related to masonry and other construction trades.
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
