Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Lawn Mowing Technician to maintain and enhance the appearance of residential and commercial landscapes. This role involves operating various landscaping equipment to ensure lawns are well-manicured, healthy, and visually appealing. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. Prior experience in landscape maintenance or horticulture is a plus, but training will be provided for the right candidate.

Duties

Mow lawns using hand tools, power tools, and riding mowers to achieve a clean, even cut.
Perform gardening tasks including planting, weeding, pruning, and fertilizing to promote healthy growth.
Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as edging, trimming, and debris removal.
Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic repairs.
Maintain the cleanliness and safety of work areas by properly handling tools and disposing of waste materials.
Support construction-related landscaping projects as needed, including site preparation and material handling.

Experience

Previous experience in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated individuals.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical knowledge is advantageous.
Experience with irrigation systems or construction-related landscaping tasks is a plus.
Ability to operate lawn mowers, excavators, and other landscaping equipment safely and effectively.
Strong physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions.
Knowledge of landscape maintenance best practices is beneficial but not mandatory; willingness to learn on the job is essential.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
