To support our expansive growth, we are excited to welcome a Quality Assurance Associate to our team.
Reporting to the QA Manager, the Quality Assurance Associate will support the QA department in their focus to maintain the highest quality standard in the production and distribution of cannabis products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop day-to-day working relationships with all staff.
- Support the Quality Assurance Manager in executing quality system activities (e.g. Document Management, Validation, Change Control, CAPA, Audits, Quality Training).
- Assist In preparing for and participating in Internal, third-party GMP. and Health Canada audits.
- Investigate quality issues. Deviations, non-conformances and complaints; collaborate with teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Oversee adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures
- (SOP’s) throughout the facility.
- Inspect and receive raw and packaging materials in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.
- Conduct daily inspections of production areas including line clearance.
- Support the management and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Assist in drafting, implementing, and updating SOPs to ensure ongoing compliance and process improvement.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in science or a related discipline (preferred).
- Previous experience in Quality Assurance, preferably within the cannabis industry or another highly regulated sector (e.g. pharmaceuticals, food) (preferred).
- Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Health Canada’s GPP experience preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to detect even small discrepancies and act accordingly.
- A proactive mindset, adaptability, and the capacity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational, planning, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a collaborative approach to working with teams.
- Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel
Compensation / Benefits:
- Hourly wage range of $25.00 - $30.00 dependant on experience

This role will require the successful candidate to permanently relocate to Princeton, BC. There is no availability for remote or hybrid work.

Pay: $38,396.90-$66,797.69 per year
