About Us

Boulangerie L’Art Blanc is a commercial bakery producing a wide variety of breads to meet the needs of our diverse clientele, including restaurants, caterers, retailers, and the hospitality sector.

About the Position

We are looking for an organized, reliable, and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our Accounting Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities related to Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P), while ensuring that financial transactions are recorded accurately and processed within the required timelines.

The ideal candidate is bilingual, organized, thorough, flexible, and trustworthy, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the supervisor and other departments.

Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable (A/R)

Enter deposits into Sage.
Post invoices in the ACET software using the Auto-Entry function.
Prepare and send customer statements twice a month.
Follow up on outstanding accounts in collaboration with the supervisor.
Balance and reconcile sales between the accounting system and ERP on a weekly basis.
Set up and process new customer accounts.
Maintain customer files and ensure the accuracy of accounting information.
Entering customer discounts
Tracking customer rebates

Accounts Payable (A/P)

Match supplier invoices with receiving documents.
Enter and post supplier invoices.
Scan supplier invoices and VISA receipts into the system using Auto-Entry.
Prepare cheque runs as requested by the supervisor.
Ensure that accounts payable documentation is complete and properly recorded.

Other Responsibilities

Participate in various special projects and perform other accounting-related tasks as requested by the supervisor.
Remain flexible and adapt to evolving responsibilities and priorities.
Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of financial and corporate information.

Qualifications

Requirements

DEP or DEC in Accounting.
2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
Bilingual in French and English.
Experience with Sage, Excel, and Word.
Experience with Odoo (asset).
Experience in the food manufacturing industry (asset).
