Job Title: Team Leader – Landscaping & Snow Removal
Location: Montreal, QC
Job Type: Full-time
Reports To: President

Job Overview:

We are looking for a reliable, experienced, and motivated Team Leader – Landscaping & Snow Removal Operations to oversee daily operations on residential and/or commercial job sites. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a solid background in landscaping, and the ability to manage a team while ensuring high-quality work and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise a crew of landscaping technicians on daily projects
Assign tasks and ensure work is completed efficiently, safely, and to quality standards
Read and interpret landscape designs and implement plans on-site
Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, excavation equipment etc.
Communicate effectively with clients and respond to questions or concerns on-site
Train new crew members and provide ongoing guidance and mentorship
Monitor inventory and request materials or supplies as needed
Ensure all safety protocols are followed at all times
Report daily progress and site updates to management

Qualifications:

2+ years of landscaping experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role
Strong knowledge of horticulture, irrigation systems, and hardscape/softscape techniques
Ability to read landscape drawings/plans
Comfortable operating landscaping machinery and tools
Valid driver’s license (required); clean driving record preferred
Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Fluent in French & English (and Spanish, highly preferred)

Aperçu du poste :

Nous recherchons un chef d’équipe fiable, expérimenté et motivé pour superviser les opérations quotidiennes sur des chantiers résidentiels et/ou commerciaux. Le candidat idéal possédera de solides compétences en leadership, une solide expérience en aménagement paysager, et la capacité de gérer une équipe tout en assurant un travail de haute qualité et la satisfaction des clients.

Responsabilités principales :

Diriger et superviser une équipe de techniciens en aménagement paysager sur les projets quotidiens
Répartir les tâches et s'assurer que le travail est réalisé efficacement, en toute sécurité, et selon les normes de qualité
Lire et interpréter les plans d’aménagement paysager et les mettre en œuvre sur le terrain
Utiliser et entretenir l’équipement de paysagement, y compris les tondeuses, taille-haies, souffleurs, équipements d'excavation, etc.
Communiquer efficacement avec les clients et répondre aux questions ou préoccupations sur place
Former les nouveaux membres de l'équipe et leur offrir un encadrement continu
Suivre l’inventaire et demander les matériaux ou fournitures nécessaires
Veiller au respect constant des protocoles de sécurité
Rendre compte quotidiennement de l’avancement et des mises à jour du chantier à la direction

Qualifications :

2 ans ou plus d'expérience en aménagement paysager, dont au moins 1 an dans un poste de supervision ou de chef d’équipe
Solide connaissance de l’horticulture, des systèmes d’irrigation et des techniques de pavage et d’aménagement végétal
Capacité à lire et interpréter des plans d’aménagement paysager
Aisance avec l’utilisation de la machinerie et des outils de paysagement
Permis de conduire valide (obligatoire); dossier de conduite sans infractions préféré
Excellentes compétences en communication, gestion du temps et résolution de problèmes
Capacité à travailler à l’extérieur dans diverses conditions météorologiques
Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais (et de l’espagnol, fortement souhaitée)

**Idéalement, cette personne supervisera les opérations d’été et d’hiver.**
