Full job description

Stallion Auto Lab & Parts is growing, and we're looking for an energetic, customer-focused Customer Sales Advisor to join our front counter and showroom team in Edmonton.

This is a sales role, not a cashier role. You'll be the first person our customers meet when they walk into the showroom or reach out by phone, website, or social media. Your job is to understand what they need, recommend the right product, build the quote, follow up, and close the sale.

If you're confident with customers, motivated by sales, and interested in the automotive industry, we want to meet you.

What you'll be selling

Products: Tires and tire packages Aftermarket wheels and rims Wheel and tire packages Tonneau covers Manual and electric side steps and running boards Suspension, lift and leveling kits TPMS sensors Lug nuts and wheel accessories LED lighting Floor mats and accessories

Services: Tire installation, balancing and seasonal changeovers Wheel alignments Window tint Paint protection film (PPF) Ceramic coating Accessory installation

What you'll do

Front counter and showroom sales

Greet showroom customers, understand what they drive and what they want, and recommend the right product for their vehicle and budget
Answer incoming phone, website, and social media inquiries
Prepare accurate, professional quotes and explain product differences, warranties, and install options
Upsell and cross-sell where it genuinely fits the customer
Process orders, deposits, and payments; book installation appointments
Coordinate with technicians on scheduling and keep customers updated on order and install status

Sales follow-up — this part matters

Follow up on open quotes and customers who requested pricing but haven't purchased
Respond promptly to website and social media leads
Maintain accurate customer and lead records
Follow up after purchase and installation to build repeat and referral business

We're looking for someone who understands that a customer who says "I'll think about it" is still a live opportunity that deserves a professional follow-up.

Showroom and product knowledge

Keep the counter and showroom clean, organized, and properly merchandised
Keep displays, pricing, and promotional material current
Learn wheel and tire fitment — bolt pattern, offset, and year/make/model/trim requirements
Assist with inventory checks and product availability

Who we're looking for

1–3 years in retail, automotive, tire, wheel, parts, or customer service — front counter, inside sales, service advisor, or automotive retail experience preferred
Naturally sales-oriented and comfortable asking for the business
Organized enough to juggle several customer inquiries at once without dropping any
Follows up consistently without needing to be reminded
Genuinely interested in cars, trucks, wheels, tires, and accessories
Comfortable with POS systems, online catalogues, email, and text
Detail-oriented on quotes and vehicle information — a wrong bolt pattern costs everyone a day
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet through a shift
Valid Class 5 driver's licence
Legally entitled to work in Canada

Our preference is to hire someone who already brings automotive, tire, wheel, or parts experience. That said, we are prepared to invest in and train a candidate who brings strong sales ability, excellent customer service, and a real interest in the industry.

Nice to have: Experience with tire and wheel fitment or aftermarket accessories Shopify POS or a similar retail system A second language (Punjabi, Hindi, or other) — we serve a diverse customer base

What success looks like

In your first six months, a successful Customer Sales Advisor will respond quickly to every lead, produce accurate and professional quotes, follow up consistently, convert more inquiries into sales, raise average transaction value through the right recommendations, and start generating repeat and referral business.

Compensation

Hourly wage based on your automotive and sales experience, plus commission on every sale you write. Bring more to the counter and you'll be paid for it — both in your base rate and in what you earn on the floor.

Schedule and location

Full-time, in person at our Edmonton showroom (2843 50 Avenue NW). Monday to Friday with rotating Saturday coverage. Spring and fall are our busiest seasons, with overtime available during peak periods.
