You are a meticulous, reliable, and highly motivated bookkeeper who takes pride in your work. Required Experience & Education:
- Minimum of 5 years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience.
- A Bookkeeping Certificate, Accounting Diploma, or a similar education is mandatory.
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership or senior bookkeeping role.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks/QBO and a strong working knowledge of other accounting software.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
Your Responsibilities
- Perform all aspects of full-cycle bookkeeping, including A/P, A/R, and bank reconciliations.
- Manage A/R collections and prepare A/P cheques.
- Payroll and HR experience
- Complete accurate GST balancing and filing.
- Month end reporting
- Prepare yearend financial records and assist with financial reporting.
- Lead and assist other bookkeepers, ensuring all work meets our high standards.
- Provide professional and confidential client services across a variety of industries.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
- Willingness to take on new projects and challenges as they arise.
