Position Overview

Whitemud Ironworks Limited is seeking experienced Journeyman and Apprentice Ironworkers for a temporary Red Deer-based project. Enjoy local work, home every night, and the opportunity to gain valuable field experience with an established structural steel fabricator and erector.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
Sort, rig, and prepare structural steel for erection
Erect structural, ornamental, and miscellaneous steel components
Perform modification and repair work on existing steel structures
Work in various site conditions, in town and out of town, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

Ticketed journeyman or registered apprentice
Valid CWB SMAW all position ticket preferred
CWB FCAW all position ticket is an asset
Minimum 2 years' experience with structural steel projects
Experience with commercial projects is an asset
Takes safety as your number one priority
Reliable and willing to work as a team with others
Legally eligible to work in Canada (no sponsorship available)
