Full job description

Authentic Stone is a leader in the installation and fabrication of quartz and granite. We are currently looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a full-time Fabricator/Polisher.

Responsibilities
-Executes work orders as received.
-Ability to organize, schedule, and complete fabrication of stone products as received.
-Polishes and Fabricates materials efficiently to complete daily tasks and meet production requirements.
-Polish, grind, and miter stone granite and quartz by hand with manual tooling in a wet fabrication facility.
-Verify the quality of finished workpieces by inspecting, comparing to templates, and measuring their dimensions.
-Ensures all shop equipment is maintained in good working order.
-The ability to read a tape measure and transfer fractions to decimals efficiently.

Qualifications
-Knowledge of the construction industry would be a very strong asset.
-Ability to learn and retain information, multi-task, and work under pressure in a team-oriented environment.
-Must be able to lift up to 100lbs +.
-Ability to work with many types of machinery and equipment is considered an asset.
-CNC Machine Proficiency is considered an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
