Job Summary

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Kitchen Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a vibrant and efficient food service environment. In this role, you will support food preparation, ensure food safety standards are maintained, and assist with serving customers in a fast-paced setting. Your energy and attention to detail will contribute to delivering delicious meals and exceptional service every day. Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning meals to ensure timely service
Cleaning of cooking area, washing of plates and kitchen utensils.
Support cooking activities by following recipes and safety guidelines to produce high-quality dishes
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety standards
Help with food handling procedures, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients to prevent spoilage
Serve customers efficiently and courteously at the counter or serving stations, ensuring a positive dining experience
Follow health and safety regulations diligently during all food handling and preparation processes
Support inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock levels
Any other duties assigned

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or the food industry is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key
Basic knowledge of food handling practices and safety protocols
Ability to perform meal preparation tasks accurately and efficiently in a busy environment
Strong attention to detail when serving, cleaning, and maintaining hygiene standards
Good communication skills for teamwork and customer interactions
Willingness to follow instructions carefully and adhere to all health regulations
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks such as lifting or moving supplies
