Position Overview
We are a high-velocity digital marketing agency specializing in the premium health, wellness, beauty, and hospitality sectors. We build and manage content campaigns, local search presence, and marketing workflows for a curated list of high-value brands. We operate as a lean team, relying on highly organized, detail-oriented people to keep our daily operations running smoothly.
We are seeking a highly disciplined, execution-minded university student or recent graduate with flawless written English to manage our daily campaign pipeline. This role is built for a process-driven individual who loves smooth workflows, catches the tiniest details (like typos or broken links), and wants to master agency operations.
Strict Role Requirements
- Education Focus: Current enrollment in, or recent graduation from, a Bachelor’s Degree program (Business, Commerce, Marketing, Communications, or a related field).
- Market & Cultural Alignment: A deep, intuitive understanding of the North American consumer market, digital trends, and modern brand communication style to ensure campaign copy lands with absolute authenticity.
- AI & Tech Fluency: Hands-on proficiency using generative AI tools (like ChatGPT) to speed up copywriting and workflow production, alongside strong familiarity with Canva and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
- Process Discipline: Absolute comfort in a highly structured remote environment that utilizes task management software (ClickUp/Asana) and requires daily written tracking logs (Start-of-Day/End-of-Day check-ins).
- Location & Setup: Must be fully based in Canada, able to work standard daytime hours, and possess a reliable remote work setup with a high-speed internet connection.
About the Role
In this role, your main focus is to serve as the daily link between our strategy, our creative team (designers and copywriters), and our clients. This is a fully remote role requiring a hands-on teammate who loves smooth workflows, tracks moving creative pieces, and ensures absolutely nothing falls through the cracks.
You will manage the daily execution pipeline: running competitor research, utilizing modern AI tools to speed up production, building rough layouts and clear directions for our design team, publishing content, and acting as a professional communication touchpoint for our clients.
Core Responsibilities1. Creative Direction & Brainstorming
- Research & Ideation: Conduct fast market research, track industry trends, analyze competitor content formats, and share fresh, practical visual ideas during team brainstorms.
- Brief Construction & Visual Outlines: Translate rough ideas, client requests, or quick notes into clear, organized creative briefs. You will build rough visual layouts (using Canva or AI references) so our graphic designers have clear direction on the exact look and style required.
- AI-Assisted Production: Use generative AI tools (like ChatGPT) as an everyday tool to quickly build out content ideas, draft first-pass text/captions, and format assets for different platforms.
2. Client Coordination & Communication
- Front-Line Presence: Serve as a reliable, professional day-to-day touchpoint for routine client logistics, such as sending over scheduled content calendars, tracking missing assets, or answering daily updates.
- Feedback Handling: Review client messages, extract the actual edits required, and quickly turn them into clear, actionable tasks for our creative team inside ClickUp.
- Strategic Escalation: Handle routine updates smoothly, while immediately passing high-stakes or deep strategic questions to the agency founders so you are never left managing difficult client issues alone.
3. Quality Control & Publishing
- Thorough Quality Checks: Review final creative drafts, captions, and links against the original plan to catch formatting flaws, typos, or wrong dates before anything goes live.
- Scheduling Workflows: Take fully approved content and handle the backend scheduling and publishing across social media channels, local search directories, and marketing platforms.
- Daily Alignment & Tracking: Keep our internal tracking sheets and client logs updated. You will participate in our structured daily workflow, using Start-of-Day (SOS) and End-of-Day (EOD) check-ins inside our team channels to track progress and flag blockers early.
Compensation & Hours
- Rate: $20.00 – $24.00 CAD / hour (depending on workflow experience).
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Work Location: Fully Remote (Canada).
- Growth Path: Clear opportunities to step into higher-tier account coordination, creative direction support, or full agency operations leadership as we scale.
Our Core Values & How We Work
We do not expect you to know everything on day one, and we provide full training. Whether you are a fresh graduate or an upper-year university student looking to launch your career, you can thrive here if you align with our core values:
- Quality Over Quantity: We believe in doing things right the first time. Precision, clarity, and thoroughness matter. Every task, no matter how small, should be completed with care.
- Eager to Learn & Ask Questions: We don’t expect perfection, and we don’t reward silence. We value people who speak up when something is unclear, clarify tasks before executing, and ask questions early.
- Take Full Responsibility: You are a core part of this team. If a task is assigned to you, you own it from start to finish. You are responsible for its progress, quality, and final outcome.
- Clarity and Transparency: Clear writing and transparent communication prevent confusion. If a deadline is ever at risk, we stay ahead of it by communicating openly.
