Are you passionate about working with children and looking for a rewarding career with flexibility, independence, and long-term career growth?

ECC Family Day Home Agency is seeking caring, dedicated, and professional Early Childhood Educators (Level 1, 2, or 3) to operate licensed Family Day Homes throughout Calgary and surrounding communities.

Whether you are an experienced Family Day Home Educator or currently working in a daycare or preschool, we welcome individuals who are ready to build a successful child care business from the comfort of their own home while receiving professional guidance and ongoing support from our experienced team.

This is an Independent Contractor opportunity. Educators operate their own licensed Family Day Home from their residence while receiving professional support from ECC Family Day Home Agency.

Potential annual income ranges from approximately CA$60,000 to CA$120,000 based on enrollment, applicable government funding, and the successful operation of your licensed Family Day Home.

Responsibilities

As a Licensed Family Day Home Educator, you will:

Provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for children
Plan age-appropriate learning experiences following Alberta's Flight Curriculum Framework.
Build positive relationships with children and their families
Maintain Alberta Family Day Home licensing standards
Follow health, safety, and nutrition requirements
Maintain required documentation and records
Communicate regularly with your ECC Consultant

Qualifications

Applicants should have:

Alberta Early Childhood Educator Level 1, 2, or 3 Certification
Passion for working with children
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
Child Intervention Record Check
Valid First Aid & CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain)
A home that is suitable for Family Day Home licensing (or willingness to prepare your home)
