LyricFind is a digital music company focusing on the licensing and use of song lyrics in the digital world. We work with some of the biggest companies in the world, including Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Deezer, and many more.
As we grow, we are looking to add a new member to our content team in Toronto who specializes in German to help grow our lyrics database!
Duties include, but not limited to;
- Transcribing lyrics to German music.
- Editing and correcting lyrics in our database.
- Synchronizing lyrics with music recordings.
- Translating top charting English songs into German.
- Research copyright information and availability.
The ideal candidate must be fluent in English and German with excellent grammar and spelling, knowledgeable of current German slang, and a fast typist. Bonus points for fluency in other languages found in German music, such as Turkish, Albanian, Arabic, etc. as well as regional German dialects.
This is a full-time position, which starts at $40000 annually, working from our office at Yonge & Eglinton in Toronto, ON.
The position also includes a year-end discretionary performance related bonus and raise.
