Magnolia is looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist who can both project manage and execute digital marketing programs across an established portfolio of B2B clients.
This is a hands-on agency role for someone who understands how to take a digital marketing strategy from plan to execution. You will manage multiple client programs simultaneously, coordinate timelines and deliverables, work directly with clients and internal team members, and execute campaigns across paid media, email, SEO, content, landing pages and other digital channels.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive and comfortable taking ownership. You understand the bigger business objective behind a campaign but are equally comfortable getting into the platforms, launching campaigns, reviewing performance and making recommendations to improve results.
Responsibilities
PPC
- Develop, manage and execute successful PPC campaigns across multiple platforms such as Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, and others
- Display in-depth technical knowledge and understanding of paid media platforms, their respective participants (Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics 4, Google tag manager and other tracking tools.
- Analyze campaign performance, comparing current campaign execution strategies with new ideas to find incremental improvements
- Experience working with Google Ads Editor/Microsoft Editor
- Understanding of technical platforms to manage accounts
- Continuously monitor, optimize and refine PPC campaigns to maximize results, including monitoring budgets and bids, and adjusting ad copy and targeting as needed
- Thorough understanding of the latest trends in PPC
Content & SEO
- Provide SEO analysis and recommendations in coordination with elements and structure of websites and pages.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO tools (Semrush, aHrefs, GSC)
- In-depth knowledge of core web vitals, on-page optimization, and technical seo
- Familiarity with how structured data markup works for SEO
Email Marketing
- Support and execute email marketing and nurture campaigns, including list segmentation, campaign setup, testing, deployment and performance reporting.
- Understanding and experience using various email marketing tools such as MailChimp, Salesforce and HubSpot
Digital Marketing
- Project manage multiple digital marketing accounts
- Responsible for meeting KPI expectations of campaigns
- Responsible for product quality of the deliverables (emails, landing page, social media, martech integration)
- Take a strong data driven, analytics approach with the internal team to recommend campaign performance and improvements for current campaigns
- Recommend creative and outside the box campaigns for client accounts
- Perform research and can understand the characteristics of high performing digital campaigns
- Define and report key metrics to monitor user experience and digital marketing campaign effectiveness including ROI
- Own the aggregation of data across the various digital channels
- Draft in-depth analysis and reports for client use to showcase campaign performance and identify gaps/areas for improvements based on data
Account and Project Management
- Translate client business and marketing objectives into clear digital campaign plans, work back schedules, deliverables, responsibilities and success measures.
- Be client-facing and participate in client meetings to discuss campaign plans, timelines, results, recommendations and next steps.
- Operate as main point person for details related to digital marketing campaigns (including but not limited to; paid and organic social ads, Google Ads/SEM, SEO, Hubspot, Mailchimp, SalesForce, email marketing, WordPress)
- Oversee projects and ensure that digital marketing campaigns run smoothly from start to finish
- Have strong interpersonal skills to work with teams and clients, and also have marketing skillsets to both manage accounts and build strategy
- Be the point person for launch dates, reporting, client management and creative assets
- Identifies oddities in performance & develop working theories and solutions for them with team members
- Maintaining and managing account budgets
- Stay current on digital marketing platform changes, AI-enabled marketing tools, privacy changes, measurement practices and emerging channel opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field preferred.
- At least 3-5 years of hands-on digital marketing experience, with agency experience strongly preferred.
- Proven experience managing multiple client accounts, campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
- Experience working in B2B marketing is strongly preferred; exposure to technology, financial services, fintech, SaaS, manufacturing or professional services is an asset.
- Keen interest and working experience in B2B industries such as high technology, finance industry are a must
- Ability to set-up and execute on digital marketing campaigns
- Strong project management skills and the ability to move projects from strategy through execution with minimal supervision.
- Hands-on experience with paid digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Meta Ads Manager.
- Experience with email marketing platforms such as HubSpot, Mailchimp or similar marketing automation platforms.
- Working knowledge of SEO, keyword research, landing page optimization and digital content best practices.
- Strong understanding of GA4, digital campaign measurement, attribution, conversion tracking and UTM structures.
- Comfortable analyzing campaign data and translating performance into practical recommendations.
- Strong understanding of lead generation, customer journeys, conversion funnels and how digital marketing supports broader business and sales objectives.
- Strong written communication skills, including the ability to develop clear advertising copy, campaign messaging and client-facing recommendations.
- High attention to detail, particularly when working with campaign budgets, targeting, links, tracking and reporting.
- Comfortable communicating directly with clients and presenting campaign recommendations and results.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on campaign execution.
- Resourceful, proactive and comfortable learning new platforms and technologies.
- Experience using AI tools to support research, campaign development, optimization or marketing workflows is an asset.
