Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team and drive excellence in our supply chain operations. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate the movement of goods, manage warehouse distribution activities, and optimize transportation processes to ensure seamless order fulfillment. Your proactive approach and strong organizational skills will contribute to improving process efficiencies, reducing costs, and enhancing overall supply chain performance. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of logistics operations, supporting both internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

Oversee warehouse distribution activities, including shipping & receiving, order picking, and materials management to ensure timely delivery of products.
Coordinate transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS) to streamline logistics workflows.
Collaborate with procurement and sourcing teams to optimize purchasing strategies and manage freight costs effectively.
Utilize data analysis skills to monitor supply chain metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements.
Manage inventory levels through demand planning, forecasting, and demand analysis to meet customer requirements efficiently.
Supervise 3PL (third-party logistics) providers and ensure compliance with shipping & receiving standards.
Support packaging operations, ensuring proper materials handling, order fulfillment accuracy, and adherence to safety protocols such as forklift operation.

Qualifications

Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or materials management within a supply chain environment.
Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms; experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is highly desirable.
Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS), freight coordination, and 3PL partnerships.
Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex logistics data for process improvement initiatives.
Hands-on experience with procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and pricing negotiations.
Ability to operate or coordinate forklift operations safely; certification preferred.
Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), ERP platforms like SAP or equivalent, and e-commerce logistics workflows is a plus.
