Intermediate-Senior Corporate Paralegal – 100% Remote

We are looking for an experienced Intermediate-Senior Corporate Paralegal to join a well-established Corporate Commercial practice in a 100% remote position. This opportunity would be ideal for a seasoned paralegal who enjoys working independently, is highly organized and can confidently handle a broad range of corporate and transactional work.

Candidates should have 4–10 years of relevant corporate paralegal experience and must be set up to work remotely, with an appropriate home-office environment.

Responsibilities

Draft and prepare documentation for incorporations, amalgamations, continuances, restorations, dissolutions, dividends and other corporate proceedings
Provide paralegal support on corporate and commercial transactions, including share and asset purchases and sales, reorganizations and financing matters
Assist with due diligence reviews, corporate searches and related transaction documentation
Prepare and submit filings for both British Columbia and federal corporations
Complete corporate registrations, filings and searches through BC Online, LTSA, ALF and other electronic platforms
Organize and maintain corporate records, minute books and electronic corporate record systems
Manage filing dates, transaction deadlines and other important dates through an effective bring-forward system
Work closely with lawyers throughout corporate transactions to ensure documentation and filings are completed accurately and on schedule
Communicate professionally with clients, lawyers and other parties regarding corporate matters and transaction requirements

Qualifications

4–10 years of experience as a Corporate Paralegal
Strong working knowledge of corporate procedures, filings and documentation
Experience supporting corporate and commercial transactions
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work effectively and independently in a remote environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be equipped and set up to work remotely from a home office

Salary $75K - $105K depending on experience.
