Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent cooking skills, and experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Lead Line Cook, you will oversee daily line set up, ensure food quality standards are met, and assist in maintaining consistent high food quality. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase culinary expertise while maintaining a focus on food safety and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
Oversee the food preparation process, ensuring efficiency and quality control
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station, adhering to food safety regulations
Supervise and assist kitchen staff during service, providing guidance on cooking techniques and food handling
Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
Uphold high standards of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices at all times
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or food industry setting
Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food safety standards
Excellent understanding of kitchen operations and food service procedures
Ability to lead and motivate a team in a high-pressure environment
Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and quality control
Good communication skills for effective coordination with team members
Knowledge of restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with kitchen equipment and safety protocols is essential

This position requires a dedicated culinary professional committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences while maintaining the highest standards of safety and cleanliness.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
