Full job description

Revelstoke Property Services is looking for an organized maintenance person, interested in working within a fast-growing property management company.

The ideal candidate would like to work in a fast paced work environment in the heart of the Powder Highway. Do you have good carpentry skills and a construction background? Looking for somewhere to work that will keep you challenged while allowing you to learn new skills? If so, then check out the rest of the ad and submit your application.

It is essential that the applicant possesses knowledge of the basic workings of general household systems i.e. plumbing, electrical, house construction etc.

As maintenance / carpenter personnel your primary responsibilities are:
- Perform general maintenance and repairs including:

Patching drywall
Painting
Caulking
General plumbing issues
Other common household repairs

- Shoveling snow (when necessary)
- Basic landscaping
- Inspecting, assessing and addressing tenant maintenance requests
- Posting notices to properties
- Working with office and other maintenance staff on larger maintenance projects
- On-site tenant and owner communication
- Work on small to medium renovation projects for our clients (mainly inside winter work)

Skills and qualities required include:
- Eagerness to learn
- Works well with others
- Basic carpentry, painting and drywall skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse resident/customer base
- Strong organizational skills
- High level of integrity
- Task-oriented
- Above average communication skills
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize while working independently.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle
- Applicants must have their own smartphones for accessing online schedules and information.

Compensation / Benefits

- Compensation based on experience
