Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented X-Ray Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily X-rays, to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced medical environment. The X-Ray Technologist will ensure patient safety and comfort while delivering high-quality imaging services.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly to obtain clear images.
Operate X-ray equipment safely and accurately, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
Review images for quality and ensure they meet diagnostic standards before submitting for physician review.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
Assist with the maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care effectively.
Stay current with advancements in radiologic technology and maintain necessary certifications.

Qualifications

Certification or licensure as an X-Ray Technologist or Radiologic Technologist (RT).
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to diagnostic imaging.
Prior experience working in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided if necessary.
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
Commitment to adhering to safety standards and infection control procedures. This role offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to patient care through precise imaging services, supporting accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans within a professional healthcare environment.

Pay: $50.00 per hour
