Our Hillcrest location is currently seeking full time cashier.

Job description

Required: Food Handlers Safety Certification (preference will be given to those candidates holding valid certification)

Preferred but not necessary:

Experience: 1 year  minimum experience in baking industry or food production

Additional Skills (preferred but willing to train):

Familiar with baking terms and baking theory
Ability to troubleshoot or identify problems in the bakery
Must be able to lift up to 20kg of weight
Can stand for long periods of times
Works well in a team and able to cooperate with co-workers
Possesses good time management skills and can multi-task
Can work in hotter temperatures and fast paced environment

Solid communication skills
Food Handler Certificate is an asset. REQUIRED FOR FUTURE ADVANCEMENT
Currently resides in commutable location to work
**NOT A SEASONAL POSITION**

Cashier Responsibilities

Assisting in opening and closing store
Scaling of ingredients, stocking and preparing packaging, supplies
Customer Service
Cleaning and Maintenance of bakery
Inventory control
Reports of sales

Availability

Minimum 3 days, 24 hours per week for full time positions.
As early as 9:00am or until 9:00pm
Available to work statutory holidays
At least 1 closing shift per week
At least 1 weekend shift per week (Saturday or Sunday)

Full-time hours: 24 hours per week

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 24 per week

Salary starting at $17.60 per hour
