We are seeking an Assistant Warehouse Manager to join our team at our Woodbridge, ON location. This is a hands-on, frontline leadership role that supports the Warehouse Manager and Senior Warehouse Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations across multiple shifts.
The Assistant Warehouse Manager is responsible for supervising warehouse associates, supporting inventory control, and ensuring the efficient execution of warehouse operations. As a key leader on the floor, you will coach and develop team members, resolve operational challenges, maintain productivity and safety standards, and help drive a positive, accountable work environment.

Compensation: $50 000 to $55 000 annually

What you will be doing! Your day to day will involve:
Supporting the Warehouse Manager and Senior Warehouse Manager in the day-to-day operation of the warehouse across multiple shifts.
Supervise, coach, and provide daily direction to a team of approximately 8–15 warehouse associates.
Communicate operational variances, delays, and other shift-related issues promptly to the Warehouse Manager(s) and other appropriate stakeholders.
Assist in maintaining accurate inventory control for incoming and outgoing products, including investigating and reporting inventory discrepancies.
Assign daily work, monitor productivity, and adjust priorities to meet operational requirements.
Provide clear instructions, guidance, and coaching to warehouse associates to ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.
Monitor compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures, and Health & Safety requirements, escalating concerns as appropriate.
Support Health & Safety initiatives by completing inspections, maintaining required documentation, and promoting safe work practices.
Assist with securing the facility during opening and closing procedures, following established security protocols.
Troubleshoot day-to-day operational issues and escalate significant concerns to the Warehouse Manager(s) when required.
Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, productivity, and service levels, and provide recommendations to management.
Foster a positive, respectful, and accountable team environment while supporting employee engagement and performance.
Participate in the onboarding, training, and ongoing development of warehouse associates.
Monitor employee attendance, performance, and conduct, providing coaching and escalating performance concerns to the Warehouse Manager.
Support the implementation of operational initiatives and departmental goals established by warehouse leadership.
Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.

1-2 year of logistics/appliances/ hard goods/ warehousing experience (prefered)

Regularly lift and/or move objects up to 75lbs
Valid driver's licence
Able to travel nationally 10-20% of the time
