Summary: We are a dynamic and growing brokerage in an interesting and challenging segment of the insurance industry always looking for talented individuals to join us. Position Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Insurance Broker Assistant Trainee to join our team. This is a part-time position with flexible hours, ideal for someone looking to gain experience in the insurance industry. The role offers the potential for growth into a full-time position based on performance. Working hours is 15 to 20 hours per week; reporting directly to the Associate Broker.

Location: Flexible between Mississauga & Richmond Hill (with potential to become partially remote)

Primary Responsibilities:

Assist with handling incoming phone calls, responding to client inquiries, and processing payments.
Provide support in the review and proofreading of insurance applications to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Assist in the processing and submission of insurance applications, following up on any necessary documentation.
Maintain organized records and files, ensuring all client information is up-to-date and secure.
Collaborate with the brokerage team to ensure a smooth workflow and high level of client service.

Personal & Organizational

Development:

Excellent attention to details and organizational skills to ensure timeliness and quality of work
Ability to multi-task

Personal Attributes:

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in basic computer applications, including MS Office.
Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
Fluent in Arabic and English.
RIBO licensed an asset.
