Full job description

Marshall Land Systems is seeking a Painter to join our team in Moncton, NB. This position supports the Fitter B – Paint in the preparation of containers and components for painting. Under supervision, the Fitter C – Paint may mask, tape, mix and apply surface coatings.

Your responsibilities in this role:

Responsible for prep work on containers and components including but not limited to: masking, taping, sanding, and blasting, as appropriate.
Under supervision, may mix, primer and paint, in accordance with paint manufacture’s specifications.
Under supervision, may assist with paint application.
Apply undercoating Prepare parts and shelters to time, cost and quality.
Adhere to Health and Safety policies and procedures.
Work in accordance with paint shop procedures (Housekeeping and good working practices).
Due to projected manufacturing demands, there may be a requirement to work shifts and overtime, when required.
Assist other departments including assembly and warehouse, as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.

Apply if you have most of the following:

Knowledge of Health and Safety, Fire and Environment issues.
Proven experience in a professional paint spraying role, preferred.
Commitment to high quality workmanship.
Able to work well within a team and, following training, with minimal supervision.
Progressing toward Red Seal, Autobody Painter preferred.
Attention to detail and the ability to follow processes and instructions.
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with other stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
Must be eligible to meet the requirements of export control regulations, including the Canadian Controlled Goods Program and Canadian government security requirements.
