Full job description

Overview
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Deli / Food Prep Associate to join our team at our busy truck stop. This position involves preparing fresh food items for our gas station deli section, ensuring products are made to a high standard and stocked for customers throughout the day.

Responsibilities

Prepare sandwiches, wraps, burgers, subs, and other deli items.
Package, label, and stock food products in deli refrigerators and display cases.
Maintain food quality, freshness, and presentation standards.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Monitor inventory and report items that need replenishing.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and sanitized.
Assist with other food service duties and cleaning as required.

Experience

Previous food preparation, deli, restaurant, or kitchen experience is an asset but not required
Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and food safety practices.
Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent schedule.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.60 per hour
