Full job description

We are looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator who will be responsible for operating heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner. Heavy equipment may include trucks and trailers, bobcats, mini-excavators, telehandlers, boom trucks and other pieces of equipment. The Heavy Equipment Operator must also clean, maintain and secure all equipment as directed by legislation, policies and procedures.

The worker might also have to float various types of construction equipment and materials to job sites as well as doing some construction work when there’s no work related to heavy equipment. The individual must have the equipment knowledge to safely load and off load equipment and materials.

Responsibilities:

Use of heavy equipment for excavation and grading.
Proficient operation of mini excavators, track machines, skid steers and telehandlers.
Boomtruck operator experience an asset but not mandatory
Clean heavy equipment as scheduled and/or required
Ensure heavy equipment is safely and securely stored
Advise Owner of any requirements for maintenance or repairs
Participate in routine maintenance
Practice workplace safety
Maintain inventory
Operation of vehicles requiring a valid AZ LICENSE
Construction worker when required.
Float moving equipment
Perform daily circle checks and maintenance checks of equipment and vehicles

Qualifications:

Candidates must possess a clear driving abstract.
The Heavy Equipment Operator needs his A-Z driver’s license
Mobile Crane operator license an asset.
Must have reliable personal transportation.Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $35.00 to $45.00 /hour

Nous recherchons un opérateur d'équipement lourd. L'opérateur est responsable de l'utilisation de l'équipement lourd de manière sûre et efficace. L'équipement lourd peut comprendre des camions et des remorques, des bobcats, des mini-pelles, des chariots télescopiques, un boom truck et d'autres pièces d'équipement. L'opérateur d'équipement lourd doit également nettoyer, entretenir et sécuriser tout l'équipement conformément aux lois, politiques et procédures.

Pourrait aussi avoir a transporter divers types d’équipements et de matériaux de construction sur les chantiers et effectuer des travaux de construction en l’absence de travaux liés à l’équipement lourd. La personne doit avoir les connaissances en matière d'équipement pour charger et décharger en toute sécurité l'équipement et les matériaux.

Responsabilités:

Utiliser des équipements lourds pour l'excavation et le nivellement.
Opérer efficacement des mini-pelles, des machines à chenilles, des mini-chargeuses et des chariots télescopiques.
Effectuer des vérifications quotidiennes et des vérifications d'entretien de l'équipement et des véhicules
Nettoyer l'équipement lourd comme prévu et /ou requis
S'assurer que l'équipement lourd est entreposé en toute sécurité
Informer le propriétaire de toute exigence d'entretien ou de réparation
Participer à l'entretien courant
Pratiquer la sécurité au travail
Maintenir l'inventaire
Conduite de véhicules nécessitant une LICENCE AZ valide
Expérience d'opérateur Boomtruck un atout mais pas obligatoire.
Travailleur de la construction au besoin.

Qualifications:

Les candidats doivent posséder un résumé de conduite clair.
L’opérateur d’équipement lourd a besoin de son permis de conduire A-Z.
Licence d'opérateur de grue mobile un atout.
Doit avoir un transport personnel fiable.
