Full job description

Position: Forklift Operator
Location: S Service Rd/Sources Blvd

Shifts Available:

5:00 PM – 2:00 AM (Monday to Friday)
11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Monday to Friday)
Weekend: Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (with potential additional weekday shifts)

Duties

Load, unload, and move materials safely
Perform daily equipment checks
Follow all safety protocols
Support warehouse operations as needed
Perform order picking accurately using warehouse management systems (WMS) to fulfill customer orders
Assist with inventory management by organising stock and ensuring proper storage procedures
Conduct routine inspections of forklift equipment to ensure safety and proper functioning
Support warehouse operations through heavy lifting of materials and products as required
Utilize basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and verifying order quantities
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of shipments and deliveries

Qualifications

Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution setting
Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues effectively
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for order picking and inventory control
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Basic math skills for accurate counting, measurements, and data entry
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
Valid forklift certification/license is mandatory; training may be provided for qualified candidates
Prior experience with warehouse distribution processes highly desirable

This role is vital for maintaining smooth warehouse operations, ensuring timely order fulfillment, and supporting overall supply chain efficiency.

Lieu : S Service Rd / Sources Blvd

Quarts disponibles :

17 h 00 – 2 h 00 (lundi au vendredi)
23 h 00 – 7 h 00 (du lundi soir au samedi matin)
Fin de semaine : samedi et dimanche, 8 h 00 – 20 h 00 (possibilité de quarts supplémentaires en semaine)

Responsabilités :

Charger, décharger et déplacer les marchandises de façon sécuritaire
Effectuer les vérifications quotidiennes de l’équipement
Respecter toutes les procédures et normes de sécurité
Soutenir les opérations d’entrepôt au besoin
Effectuer la préparation des commandes avec précision à l’aide d’un système de gestion d’entrepôt (WMS)
Participer à la gestion des stocks en organisant les produits et en assurant leur entreposage adéquat
Effectuer des inspections régulières du chariot élévateur afin d’assurer son bon fonctionnement et la sécurité
Participer aux opérations d’entrepôt incluant la manutention et le levage de charges
Utiliser des compétences de base en mathématiques pour les inventaires, les mesures et la vérification des quantités
Maintenir un environnement de travail propre et sécuritaire
Collaborer avec les membres de l’équipe pour assurer le traitement rapide des expéditions et des livraisons

Qualifications :

Expérience démontrée en conduite de chariot élévateur dans un environnement d’entrepôt ou de distribution
Connaissances mécaniques de base pour résoudre des problèmes mineurs d’équipement
Familiarité avec les systèmes de gestion d’entrepôt (WMS) pour la préparation de commandes et le contrôle des stocks
Capacité à effectuer du levage de charges dans un environnement dynamique
Compétences de base en mathématiques pour le comptage, les mesures et la saisie de données
Grande attention aux détails et respect des normes de sécurité
Certification de cariste valide obligatoire (formation possible pour les candidats qualifiés)
Expérience en distribution d’entrepôt fortement souhaitée
