About the position

Le Technicien de service sur site III effectue, sans supervision, l’entretien préventif, les travaux sous garantie et les réparations mineures sur une variété d’équipements et d’ensembles industriels. Ce rôle consiste à répondre aux demandes des clients, à fournir un soutien technique avancé et du dépannage, ainsi qu’à effectuer la modernisation de panneaux de contrôle industriels. Le titulaire du poste veille à ce que toutes les tâches soient réalisées conformément à la norme ANSI/IIAR-6:2019, forme les clients sur le fonctionnement des équipements et gère toute la documentation requise dans les délais prescrits. ______________________________________________________________________ The Field Service Technician III performs routine maintenance, warranty work, and minor repairs to a variety of industrial equipment products and packages without supervision. This role involves responding to customer requests, providing advanced technical support and troubleshooting, and performing retrofitting of industrial control panels. The technician ensures that all tasks are completed in accordance with ANSI/IIAR-6 2019 standards, provides training to customers on equipment operation, and manages all required paperwork within the specified timeframe.

Your responsibilities and tasks

Réaliser l’entretien préventif et les réparations conformément à la norme ANSI/IIAR-6:2019.
Inspecter les équipements afin de confirmer leur bon fonctionnement.
Formuler des recommandations à caractère préventif.
Présenter au client un résumé des travaux réalisés.
Soumettre toutes les feuilles de temps, rapports de dépenses (dans un délai de 30 jours), bons de service, rapports de mise en service, rapports d’inspection et toute autre documentation requise dans les délais prescrits.
Fournir un soutien téléphonique de dépannage en dehors des heures normales de travail.
Former efficacement les clients sur l’utilisation et le fonctionnement des équipements.

Provides advanced technical support and performs advanced troubleshooting of refrigeration systems.
Performs retrofitting of industrial control panels across multiple manufacturers.
Completes routine maintenance or repair in accordance with ANSI/IIAR-6 2019.
Inspects machinery to confirm proper working order.
Provides preventative measure suggestions.
Discusses work completed with the customer.
Submits all time sheets, expense reports (within 30 days), service tickets, start-up reports, inspection reports, and other required paperwork within the required timeframe.
Performs after-hours telephone troubleshooting support.
Proficiently trains customers on the operation of the equipment.

Your profile and qualifications

Formation et expérience

Diplôme d’études secondaires ou équivalent requis.

Certification RETA CIRO, un atout.
Certification ANSI/IIAR-6 requise ou capacité à l’obtenir dans l’année suivant l’embauche.
Certification universelle EPA 608, un atout.
Minimum de 10 ans d’expérience.
Capacité à voyager et à travailler selon un horaire variable.
Capacité à lire et interpréter les schémas de procédé (P&ID) et les schémas électriques.
Connaissance approfondie du cycle de réfrigération.
Connaissance des principales composantes d’un système de réfrigération.
Connaissance avancée des systèmes électriques, du câblage et des schémas de contrôle.

Capacité à voyager jusqu’à 90 % du temps.
Capacité à demeurer assis, debout, à se pencher, à s’étirer, à marcher et à travailler dans des espaces restreints pendant de longues périodes.
Capacité à soulever et transporter fréquemment des charges pouvant atteindre 75 lb (34 kg).
Dextérité suffisante des mains, des bras et des doigts pour utiliser des ordinateurs, des outils et de la machinerie.
Capacité à travailler occasionnellement de longues heures, y compris les fins de semaine et les jours fériés.
Capacité à travailler dans un environnement manufacturier pouvant être bruyant, poussiéreux, chaud, froid, graisseux ou humide.

Education and Experience:

Minimum of a high school diploma or GED required.
Technical school certification in refrigeration or similar field; preferred.
RETA CIRO Certification; preferred.
ANSI/IIAR-6 certification required or must be able to obtain certification within 1 year.
EPA 608 universal certification; preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience.
Ability to travel and work according to a changing schedule.
Capable of reading P&IDs and electrical schematics.
Thorough knowledge of the refrigeration cycle.
Knowledge of the major components pertaining to a refrigeration system.
Advanced working knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and control schemes.

Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, walk, and maneuver in small spaces for extended periods.
Must be able to lift/carry 75lbs frequently.
Sufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate computers, tools, and machinery.
Ability to work extended hours on occasion, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to work in manufacturing areas that may be noisy, dusty, hot, cold, greasy, and/or wet.
