About the role

Nous sommes à la recherche d'un(e) conseiller.ère principal.e, Indemnisation, Lignes Spécialisées (FinPro+) qui jouera un rôle essentiel dans le soutien de notre croissance au sein de l’équipe Indemnisation de l’assurance spécialisée.

Il se peut que le poste soit converti en conseiller.ère, Indemnisation selon l’expérience des candidats ou candidates.

À titre de conseiller,ère principal.e, Indemnisation – FINPRO+ (Québec), vous jouerez un rôle stratégique dans la gestion de réclamations complexes en responsabilité professionnelle (E&O), responsabilité des administrateurs et dirigeants (D&O), en crime financier et risques cyber.

Vous êtes passionné(e) par le litige, la négociation et la résolution de différends complexes?

Que vous œuvriez actuellement en assurance, en gestion de réclamations, dans un environnement juridique ou dans un rôle impliquant la gestion de dossiers litigieux, cette opportunité vous permettra de mettre à profit votre expertise dans un contexte stimulant et spécialisé.

Vous demeurerez au cœur de dossiers complexes et collaborerez étroitement avec des avocats spécialisés, participerez aux réflexions stratégiques entourant les dossiers, prendrez part aux médiations et aux négociations et contribuerez activement aux décisions qui orientent leur évolution. Vous serez impliqué(e) dans l’ensemble du cycle de vie des dossiers, tout en bénéficiant d’une perspective unique sur le processus de règlement des différends.

Vous joindrez également une équipe spécialisée en forte croissance, reconnue pour la qualité de son expertise et offrant d’excellentes possibilités de développement professionnel et d’avancement au sein de l’organisation.

Lieu de travail : Montréal (2020 boul. Robert-Bourassa), Laval (600 rue Lucien-Paiement), St-Hyacinthe (2450 rue Girouard O) ou Québec (5700 boul. des Galeries).

Ce que vous ferez :

Effectuer des analyses de couverture complexes et formuler vos conclusions par l’entremise de lettres de couvertures bien étayées
Gérer des réclamations complexes en responsabilité professionnelle (E&O), responsabilité des administrateurs et dirigeants (D&O), risques cyber et crime financier.
Collaborer étroitement avec les avocats mandatés et contribuer activement à l’élaboration des stratégies de défense et de règlement.
Participer aux médiations, conférences de règlement et autres modes alternatifs de résolution des différends.
Négocier directement avec les tiers, leurs représentants et les différentes parties impliquées afin de favoriser des règlements efficaces lorsque cela est approprié.
Évaluer les risques juridiques, financiers et réputationnels associés aux réclamations afin d’orienter les décisions stratégiques.
Exercer un rôle clé dans l’orientation des dossiers litigieux et assurer le suivi de leur évolution jusqu’à leur résolution.
Établir les réserves appropriées et assurer un suivi rigoureux des coûts liés aux dossiers.
Offrir un service de haute qualité aux assurés, courtiers et autres partenaires d’affaires.
Contribuer au partage des connaissances et au développement continu de l’expertise au sein de l’équipe.

Profil recherché :

Intérêt marqué pour le litige, la négociation et la résolution de différends complexes.
Solides aptitudes d’analyse, d’interprétation contractuelle et de rédaction
Capacité à analyser des situations comportant des enjeux juridiques, financiers et réputationnels importants.
Aisance à négocier avec des tiers et à rechercher des solutions pragmatiques avant ou pendant le processus judiciaire.
Habileté à exercer son jugement dans des dossiers complexes nécessitant une approche stratégique.
Capacité à collaborer efficacement avec divers intervenants, incluant assurés, courtiers, avocats externes et experts spécialisés.
Excellentes aptitudes de communication et de gestion des relations dans un contexte où les enjeux peuvent être sensibles ou litigieux.
Forte capacité d’analyse, d’organisation et de prise de décision.
Esprit d’équipe et volonté de contribuer à un environnement collaboratif.

Ce que vous mettez à profit :

Diplôme d’étude collégiale (DEC) et/ou formation équivalente ou jugée pertinente.
DEC en assurance/ PAA (un atout).
Baccalauréat en droit (un atout).
Expérience de 3 à 5 ans en gestion de réclamations complexes, en assurance, en litige, en responsabilité professionnelle, en gestion des risques ou dans un environnement connexe.
Détenir un permis 5a valide auprès de l’AMF*
Expérience de 3 à 5 ans à titre d’expert en sinistre E&O D&O ou expérience équivalente.
Bilinguisme (français / anglais) – Nécessité de traiter des dossiers de réclamations d’une clientèle anglophone sur une base régulière.

Les candidats retenus qui ne détiennent pas actuellement ce permis devront s’engager à l’obtenir dans les 3 mois suivant leur entrée en fonction.
