Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie, Line Cook, or Garde Manger to join our culinary team. This role involves preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring efficient kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent cooking skills, and experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This position offers an opportunity to showcase culinary talents and contribute to creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and assembling ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
Monitor food quality during service to ensure consistency and excellence
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of dishes
Manage specific sections of the kitchen, such as garde manger or station responsibilities
Serve dishes promptly and professionally to guests or servers
Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and storage
Assist with inventory management and stock rotation as needed

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques
Knowledge of meal preparation for different cuisines or specialties such as garde manger is a plus
Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Attention to detail in presentation and quality control
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities during service hours
