About Us:
Bubbly Cup is a locally owned and upcoming café startup located in the heart of Saint John Uptown, offering a delicious mix of coffee, bubble tea, sweet treats, and light snacks in a cozy and inviting space. We pride ourselves on creating an enjoyable atmosphere for both customers and team members.

Job Summary:
We’re currently looking for an experienced Barista / Team Member to join our growing team! The ideal candidate has hands-on experience making coffee in a café setting and can confidently create latte art. You’ll be preparing drinks, assisting with baking and snacks, and creating a welcoming environment for all guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare high-quality coffee, bubble tea, and other beverages consistently
Perform latte art and demonstrate strong barista skills
Assist in baking, preparing snacks and breakfast items
Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting café space
Deliver friendly, attentive customer service at all times
Handle cash register and POS transactions accurately
Assist with inventory management and restocking
Follow all health and safety regulations
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications:

Previous barista or café experience is required
Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques (espresso, lattes, etc.)
Latte art experience is highly preferred
Passion for customer service and hospitality
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Food Safety Certification (preferred)
Smart Serve (preferred)
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Job Details:

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour (based on experience)
Expected Hours: 30 – 40 per week
Location: In person – Saint John, NB
