Medavie is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to play a key role in shaping and advancing our enterprise infrastructure strategy. In this role, you will design and guide the implementation of modern, secure, and scalable IT solutions that align with Medavie’s long-term business objectives .
You will provide technical leadership across infrastructure initiatives, influence technology direction, and work closely with infrastructure, application, security, and operations teams. This is a senior, highly collaborative role with exposure to leadership and enterprise-wide decision-making.
As the successful candidate for the position of IT Solution Architect, you will be accountable for the following:
Act as Infrastructure Applications Management Process Owner, developing and maintaining architecture designs, runbooks, policies, processes, procedures and support documentation.
Collaborate with business units, IT architects, application teams, vendor management, and operations.
Education: University degree or college diploma in Computer Science or a related field.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 core services and PaaS offerings, enterprise hardware/software systems (Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware vSphere) and software engineering processes
Certifications such as Microsoft Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Security Engineer Associate, Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert, Scrum Master, Lean Six Sigma.
Language Skills: English (Spoken and Written) required . French (Spoken and Written) considered an asset
Security Clearance Requirement: In conjunction with our contract with the Federal Government, you will be required to have Reliability Status Clearance (Enhanced Level B). This includes Fingerprinting, Criminal Record Check, Credit Check and you must have resided in Canada for at least 5 years and hold Permanent Resident or Citizenship Status.

Pay Range:
$88,158 - $110,197

The Base Pay range may vary depending on the successful candidate or other relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and education/training. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Medavie employees may participate in various performance-based incentive programs. Payments under these programs are discretionary and subject to both individual and organizational results.
