Aperçu du poste

Nous sommes à la recherche d’un(e) plongeur(euse) / aide-préparateur(trice) motivé(e) pour se joindre à notre équipe en restauration. Ce poste joue un rôle essentiel dans le maintien d’un environnement de cuisine propre, organisé et efficace, tout en contribuant à la préparation des aliments et au respect des normes de salubrité alimentaire. Le ou la candidat(e) idéal(e) démontre un intérêt pour le domaine de la restauration, possède une bonne éthique de travail et souhaite évoluer dans un environnement dynamique.

Responsabilités

Laver, désinfecter et organiser la vaisselle, les ustensiles et l’équipement de cuisine afin de maintenir des standards élevés de propreté et d’hygiène
Participer à la préparation des aliments (coupe, assemblage des ingrédients, portionnement, etc.)
Soutenir les activités de cuisine en préparant les ingrédients et en assistant l’équipe de cuisine au besoin
Respecter les procédures de manipulation des aliments afin d’assurer la sécurité alimentaire et prévenir toute contamination
Maintenir la propreté des postes de travail, incluant les comptoirs, éviers et espaces de rangement
Appliquer les protocoles de salubrité alimentaire pendant la préparation et le service
Participer à l’installation et au démontage des stations de préparation pour les opérations quotidiennes
Contribuer au bon déroulement des opérations en cuisine durant les périodes de fort achalandage

Exigences

Expérience en restauration, service alimentaire ou en cuisine considérée comme un atout, mais non obligatoire
Connaissance des pratiques de manipulation des aliments, des normes de salubrité et des techniques de base en cuisine
Capacité à travailler efficacement dans un environnement rapide tout en portant attention aux détails
Bon sens de l’organisation et aptitude à suivre les consignes avec rigueur
Volonté d’apprendre et de développer de nouvelles compétences liées à la préparation alimentaire et à la sécurité alimentaire
Capacité à rester debout pendant de longues périodes et à effectuer des tâches physiques, incluant soulever des charges (casseroles, boîtes de fournitures, etc.)
Attitude positive, esprit d’équipe et engagement envers le maintien d’un environnement de travail propre et sécuritaire

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our busy restaurant team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment while assisting with food preparation and ensuring food safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, experience in food handling, and a strong work ethic. Responsibilities

Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning meals
Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and helping chefs as needed
Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety regulations to prevent contamination
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen workstations, including counters, sinks, and storage areas
Follow proper food safety protocols during meal preparation and service
Assist in setting up and breaking down prep stations for daily operations
Support the overall flow of the kitchen during busy service hours

Requirements

Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not mandatory
Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and basic cooking techniques
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong organizational skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
Willingness to learn new skills related to meal preparation and food safety standards
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy pots or boxes of supplies
A positive attitude, teamwork-oriented mindset, and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment

Pay: $16.10-$20.00 per hour
