Ouvrier agricole saisonnier (juin à octobre)

Aperçu du poste

Nous recherchons un(e) ouvrier(ère) agricole motivé(e) et fiable pour se joindre à notre équipe pour la saison, d’avril à octobre. Ce poste est idéal pour une personne qui aime travailler à l’extérieur, s’intéresse à l’agriculture et souhaite apprendre dans un environnement dynamique et concret.

Rémunération

16,60 $ à 18,00 $ de l’heure, selon l’expérience

Horaire

Les quarts de travail du matin se déroulent généralement de 5 h à 10 h
Possibilité de prolonger les heures certains jours, selon la charge de travail
Disponibilité les fins de semaine souhaitée
Nous sommes flexibles et prêts à nous adapter aux disponibilités du ou de la candidat(e) retenu(e)

Principales responsabilités

Participer à la plantation, à l’entretien et à la récolte des cultures
Utiliser la machinerie et l’équipement de base en serre
Effectuer des tâches physiques, incluant le port occasionnel de charges lourdes
Irriguer les cultures et surveiller les niveaux d’eau afin d’assurer une croissance optimale
Maintenir la propreté et l’organisation des serres, des outils et de l’équipement
Utiliser des outils manuels et électriques pour diverses tâches agricoles
Participer à la réparation et à l’entretien des clôtures, des portails et d’autres structures agricoles

Qualifications

Une expérience en jardinage ou en agriculture est un atout, mais n’est pas requise
Capacité à communiquer en anglais ou en français (le bilinguisme n’est pas requis)
Aptitude à effectuer un travail physiquement exigeant, incluant le port de charges lourdes
Disposer d’un moyen de transport fiable pour se rendre à la ferme

Seasonal Garden / Farm Hand (June–October)

Looking for both during the week and weekend

Overview

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Garden/Farm Hand to join our team for the season (April through October). This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has an interest in agriculture, and is eager to learn in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.

Compensation

$16.60–$18.00 per hour, based on experience

Schedule

Morning shifts typically run from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Opportunity to stay longer on certain days, depending on workload
Weekend availability preferred
We are flexible and willing to work with the right candidate’s availability

Key Responsibilities

Assist with planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops
Operate basic greenhouse machinery and equipment
Perform physical tasks, including occasional heavy lifting
Irrigate crops and monitor water levels to ensure optimal growth
Maintain cleanliness and organization of greenhouses, tools, and equipment
Use hand and power tools to complete various farm tasks
Assist with the repair and maintenance of fences, gates, and other farm structures

Qualifications

Previous gardening or farm experience is an asset, but not required
Ability to communicate in either English or French (bilingualism not required)
Comfortable performing physically demanding work, including heavy lifting
Reliable transportation to and from the farm
