Full job description

Ce poste effectue une variété de tâches afin d'assurer la gestion efficace des activités de réception et d'expédition pour répondre aux besoins des clients. Ce poste est également responsable d'assurer la livraison en temps opportun de toutes les commandes planifiées, au besoin, de façon sécuritaire et efficace. Le poste exige d'excellentes compétences en communication et en relations interpersonnelles; la planification, l'organisation et la capacité multitâche, l'attention aux détails, ainsi que, les compétences informatiques.

Entrepôt:

Responsable de la réception, du chargement et du déchargement des remorques, de la préparation des commandes, du réapprovisionnement des produits et de l'expédition en utilisant des scanners RF et des machines.
Préparation, emballage et mise en boîte des commandes des clients avec l'utilisation de scanners RF en veillant à l'exactitude et à l'efficacité.
Compléter les processus d'expédition et de réception et effectuer des comptages de cycle.
Utiliser le système de gestion d'entrepôt pour assurer l'exactitude et éliminer les écarts. Responsable de la productivité et de l'efficacité des opérations d'entrepôt.
Maintenir une communication régulière avec les clients/le personnel de vente concernant les questions de service/de livraison.
Optimiser l'utilisation des ressources de l'entrepôt pour répondre aux exigences d'expédition des clients.
S'assurer que les opérations efficaces sont maintenues en optimisant la disponibilité d'équipements efficaces et sûrs, en identifiant les opportunités d'amélioration des processus, etc.
Signaler tout dommage aux équipements ou aux envois, en s'assurant que des photos et des rapports sont complétés.
Maintenir un environnement d'entrepôt propre, organisé et sûr.
Responsable des ventes au comptoir.
Autres tâches selon les besoins.

Camion :

Responsable de la livraison des commandes clients de manière sûre et rapide.
Responsable de la réception, du chargement, du déchargement et de la sécurisation de la cargaison du camion.
Maintient une communication régulière avec les clients/le personnel de vente concernant les questions de service/de livraison.
Signale tout dommage aux équipements ou aux expéditions.
Courtois envers les clients en tout temps.
Maintient un dossier de conduite sécuritaire et met à jour les journaux de chauffeur.
Maintient le camion en bon état de fonctionnement et en sécurité.
Autres tâches selon les besoins.

Warehouse/Truck Driver Class 3

Job Summary

This position performs a variety of tasks to ensure the efficient and effective management of receiving and shipping activities to meet customer needs. This position is also responsible for ensuring timely delivery of all scheduled orders as required in a safe and efficient manner. The position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills; planning, organization and multi-tasking ability, attention to detail, as well as, computer skills.

Primary Responsibilities

Warehouse:

Responsible for receiving, loading and unloading trailers, picking orders, restocking product and shipping with the use of RF Scanners and machinery.
Picking, packing and boxing customer orders with use of RF Scanners and ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Completing shipping and receiving and performing cycle counts.
Use warehouse management system to ensure accuracy and eliminate discrepancies.
Accountable for productivity and efficiencies of warehouse operations.
Maintains regular communication with customers/sales staff regarding service/delivery matters.
Optimizes the use of warehouse resources to meet customer shipping requirements.
Ensures efficient operations are maintained by optimizing availability of efficient and safe equipment, identifying process improvement opportunities, etc.
Reports any damage to equipment or shipments, ensuring photographs and reports are completed.
Maintains a clean, organized and safe warehouse environment.
Responsible for counter sales.
Other duties as assigned.

Truck:

Responsible for delivery of customer orders in a safe and timely manner.
Responsible for receiving, loading, unloading and cargo securement of the truck.
Maintains regular communication with customers/sales staff regarding service/delivery matters.
Reports any damage to equipment or shipments.
Courteous to customers at all times.
Maintains a safe driving record and updates driver logs.
Maintains truck to be safe and in good working order.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year in the warehousing or distribution sector.
Consistently able to lift 50lbs.
Minimum 5 years of driving experience in the warehousing or distribution sector utilizing a truck requiring a class 3 license or above.
Valid Class 3 Drivers license.
Clean personal & commercial driver abstracts are required.
Previous forklift and pipe yard experience is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Self-motivated and work well in a team environment.
Ability to effectively handle multiple conflicting priorities.
Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet time sensitive orders.
Good computer skills and able to use RF Scanners.
Industry experience and/or product knowledge is an asset.
Attention to detail required.
Valid forklift license is an asset.
